Scotland’s Tech Week is now in its second year and has already attracted international attention, bringing together startups, scaleups, investors, academics, policymakers and tech and creative talent for a vibrant programme of events, meetups, panels, and tech demo sessions.
With 40 events and activities taking place across the week, the 2025 programme offers something for everyone, from deep tech and AI to climate tech, digital health, investment and robotics.
Following a hugely successful and highly acclaimed debut in 2024, Glasgow Tech Week has grown to become the platform for Scotland’s entire tech and innovation ecosystem, with events led by organisations ranging from local startups to global tech firms and universities.
This year’s events include:
The week is headlined by Fusion Fest, Glasgow’s leading innovation conference that takes place on Thursday 29th May at the University of Strathclyde’s Technology and Innovation Centre, with speakers from WIRED, Green & Black’s, Revive Eco and more.
Alisdair Gunn, Director, Glasgow City Innovation District, said: “We’re delighted with the way the community has come together and collaborated to get behind Glasgow Tech Week and put Scotland on the map as the home of tech and innovation in Scotland. This is our opportunity to showcase what’s being built here, create new partnerships, attract investment and spark conversations that lead to real change. Scotland needed a national tech platform to showcase its capability - Glasgow Tech Week leads that movement.”
Glasgow is one of the UK’s fastest-growing hubs for tech and innovation, with world-leading research, a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem, and a culture of collaboration. Glasgow Tech Week is designed to amplify that energy and provide an open, accessible platform for knowledge exchange, investment, and inspiration.
Whether you're a developer, a startup founder, an investor, a student, or someone dipping into the tech and innovation scene, there is an event for you.
